Kara Kolambu

INGREDIENTS :

Mustard Seeds
Onion -1/2 Chopped
Garlic - 4 Cloves
Curry Leaves
Turmeric Powder
Any vegetable (Preferred Egg Plant/ Drumstick)

Grinding Ingredients :

Onion - Big-1/2
Garlic - 6-8  Cloves
Tomato - Big -1/2
Whole Pepper - 1 Tsp
Cumin Seeds - 1 Tsp
Tamarind - Little
Coconut - 1 Small Piece
Coriander Powder - 1 Tsp
Chili Powder - 1 Tbsp

PROCEDURE :

1. Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds.Add onion,garlic,curry leaves.
2. Add Vegetable and fry for a minute.
3. Add the grinned mixture and turmeric powder and fry till the raw smell goes.
4. Add water if needed and boil till the vegetable is fully cooked.
5. Serve hot with rice
